My friend, Kyle, waved at me, one hand behind his back.

"You said you'd do anything to make it up to me." I gave him a confused look.

"Well... My girlfriend's birthday is coming up, and she wants a dog." He nodded once and smiled. "We'll make her one."

"How?" I asked, a little weirded out out by this.

Kyle put a box on the table. "With this." he said, "It has a costume in it. I want to see how you'd look in it."

I raised an eyebrow. "So, we're pulling a prank on her for her birthday?" I took the box and opened it. "Don't you find that a little dark?"

The box only had one thing in it: Melted play-dough. "Your costume melted..." I tipped the box in his direction so he could see.

Some of the goo got stuck to my finger. "No, it's perfectly functional." Kyle said with an even bigger smile. "Just give it a second."

I tried pulling off the goo. It wouldn't come off. Some of it got stuck on the index and thumb of my other hand. Then is started expanding. It covered my fingers slowly, one by one. I looked at Kyle. He was standing against the wall, watching me.

The gelatin now looked like tightly fit gloves. I tried pulling it off again, to no avail. It slowly started creeping up my arms. I moved to the sink to wash it off, but I found I couldn't move my arms at all to reach the faucet. Kyle laughed.

The two parts met at my chest as the gloves started to harden and envelop my nails with scythe-like claws. I started to worry. "Kyle, is this another one of your pranks?"

He put a toothpick in his mouth from a nearby cupboard. "Well, yes, but it really is my girlfriend's birthday soon, too. I thought I'd put them both together." He looked at the play-dough, now wrapping itself around my chest. "I'd say it was worth the cost."

The liquid finally gave in to gravity, running down my front (and back) slowly. Seeing this, Kyle attached a belt on me from behind. It blinked. "I forgot to give you your 'fake' tail. The belt itself has added benefits - it can track you and send data to my iPhone!" He laughed again.

The jell hit the belt, enveloped it and continued oozing downward. I could feel a hole in the back of the belt being filled. When the oil hit the end of my toes, I found it hard to stand. I fell down onto the tiles, stuck on my side. I couldn't move my legs anymore. It hardened on my feet as it did with my hands, again covering the tips of my fingers with claws. Kyle jumped, eager for something. "Now for the fun part."

I could feel the syrup crawling up my neck. I tried to scream, but before I could I felt it costume oozing into my mouth. I felt uncomfortable, unable to twitch or slither or try anything to get it out. My whole body was frozen to the ground. I felt it cover my tongue and teeth. It stuck to the top and bottom of the inside of my mouth, and continues down into my organs. Kyle juts kept on looking.

I could move my lips and look around, that was pretty much it. I physically couldn't talk or breathe anymore. I tried to cough, but the hardening goo kept me in place. When it was done with my insides, it crawled back out of my nose and covered my face. It literally felt like a rubbery mask, twitching and tightening on my face, while keeping its features. Kyle gave me a thumbs up. "Your face is really looking convincing, man. It must like you." He teased.

The mask covered my ears. It pressed really hard against them, making them ache a lot. It dripped to the back of my head, covering that too. I felt it close around the top of my head, but it stopped. I could feel two holes, where my hair wasn't as compressed. I then found I couldn't hear or see anything, let alone touch. I couldn't move even my tongue now.

I realized I hadn't taken a breath in a long time. I didn't feel hungry at all, either. It felt, though, as if hours had passed. I felt the rubbery suit hardening some more, completely sticking to my figure. My ears hurt immensely. I was stuck in blackness, fully conscious.

I was about to fall asleep when I found I could see again. Everything was back to normal. I looked around. I still couldn't move any part of me at all. Kyle was looking at me, shouting something. I couldn't hear a thing.

I started to regain feeling in my hands and feet, so I stood back up. I touched my arm with my hand, then my legs. They were dry now. I touched the mask, it was dry too. I looked at Kyle angrily. What have you done? Why me? It was only five dollars! Kyle looked at me, horrified. He ran out of the kitchen.

I felt a soft, tingling feeling. I looked down. My legs were covered in fur. My feet looked like they were in boots with individual toes. They also had plastic claws on them. I guess Kyle put them on, to make a better image? I was glad I could move and see again. I looked at my arms. They were furry and clawed, too! I panicked. I tried to rip off the boots, but they were completely fused with the legs of the costume. I felt my bones stretching to barely touch the boots. They suddenly felt very tight on me. The process could be felt all across my body now, other than my head. It was the only part that wasn't tight. I gave it a pull.

Instead of pulling my mask off, I pulled my nose out to meet the masks's nose. I tried the ears. I felt a large tug on my nose and my skin stretching to fill the two holes. Then my tail-bone burst out. I watched as the fake tail inflated and became more stable. My balance was thrown off. I fell on my side again. I got up, and fell forward. I went on my hands and knees to crawl to a mirror.

But I couldn't. The all-fours stance seemed to trigger something, and I shrunk down. The kitchen was three times the size it used to be now. I sat on my hind legs and looked around. Kyle came back with a hand mirror and showed me my reflection.

I was a dog! I looked exactly like a collie. It was perfect. I wagged my tail at the mirror. Apparently the costume replaced my body. Kyle squatted and scratched my head. "Good boy," He said calmly.

Just because I look like a dog doesn't mean I'm a dog! I could move my vocals again. It all came out in barks.

Kyle put a collar on me. "I'll call you... Abbas."

I felt my brain twitch. The ooze covered my brain and hardened around it.

I bent down on my front paws. "Grrr!" let's play! I was Abbas the Collie, I wouldn't react to any other name.

"Not now, I have to give you a bow for my girlfriend's birthday in a few hours." He walked off, and I followed him happily.
First in my series of Trensformations. This one is in the form of a prank.
